Building sustainable chains

At Royal A-ware, we believe in dairy as a source of essential nutrients. We produce dairy with the highest possible nutritional value and the lowest possible impact on people, animals, and the environment. To achieve this, we build sustainable dairy chains and always create the shortest route from consumer to cow. For Royal A-ware, sustainability means sustainable business practices within the chain, where all links have lasting benefits. We organize our chains in such a way that we remain a financially healthy family business while committing to reducing our impact on the environment.

Targeted steps towards 2050

In 2023, we established ambitious long-term goals to further improve the sustainability of our entire chain, from consumer to cow, with the ultimate goal of achieving net-zero by 2050. These goals have been admitted by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Guided by six pillars, we are taking targeted steps towards 2050 to make our entire chain more sustainable in order to achieve the ultimate goal of net-zero. In our 2023 sustainability report, you can read about the initial steps taken to realize our sustainability ambitions. For instance, significant investments were made in the installation of over 24,000 solar panels, in addition to reducing and greening our energy consumption.
